S&P 500 Snapshot: Down 22.5% YTD
The S&P 500 spent four out of five days in the red this week, tumbling on Friday. The index is down 22.51% YTD and is 23% below its record close.
The U.S. Treasury puts the closing yield on the 10-year note as of September 23 at 3.69% which is above its record low (0.52% on 8/4/2020). The 2-year note is at 4.20%. See our latest Treasury Snapshot here.
